Nice high-level overview of the challenges, pressure-wise, of deepwater drilling and one of the Dual Gradient Drilling (DGD) solutions for this challenge. The issue I have with the article is that Statoil did not invent this, they are utilizing someone else's technology. Chevron is probably one of the leaders in this area.
